Module set · Investment oversight

Oversee the capital you delegate.

For family offices, wealth oversight firms, funds and institutional allocators that place capital with external managers. Six modules, each preparing one oversight decision from your own statements, reports and mandates.

All six are at Concept: designed and open to a first customer.

The starting point

The data is in your tools. The oversight happens between them.

Positions sit with custodians and in the portfolio system. Fee terms sit in side letters. Manager reports arrive as documents. Mandates, and the reasoning behind them, sit with a few senior people.

Each oversight decision means bringing these together by hand, usually in the days before a committee meeting. The work is repeated every cycle, and what was learned last time is rarely written down.

Reformance leaves your portfolio system, your custodian feeds and your market data where they are. It connects them in a data hub, records what your institution knows in a governed knowledge base, and adds modules that prepare each decision for the person who makes it.

The set

Six decisions, prepared.

Each module is named by the decision it improves. Every card states what the system supplies, what stays with your people and the data the module needs.

Fed by Manager monitoring

Modules prepare decisions. They give no investment advice, and each decision stays with its named owner.

Not listed?

A decision that is not listed can be commissioned as a new module, and it joins the catalogue.

Linked decisions

Improve one decision and the next one moves.

A decision that is made sooner, or on better evidence, changes the inputs of the decisions that follow it. Each card names the decision it feeds, so you can see where to start and what a first module opens.

  1. Fee verification feeds Manager monitoring, which feeds Committee pack
  2. Commitment pacing feeds Liquidity planning, which feeds Committee pack
  3. Exposure review feeds Committee pack

Knowledge it relies on

Mandates, fee terms and review rules

Your knowledge base. Every change is approved by a named person.

How we will know it works

Measures are agreed before work starts and tracked once the module is live.

  • Time from report received to review complete
  • Share of reviews with full source evidence
  • Exceptions raised before the committee date
Example specification for a Concept module. Triggers, roles and measures are agreed with each customer.

The data hub

Each data domain opens modules.

The hub grows one domain at a time, and each domain is paired with the modules that use it. A first module needs its own domains and nothing more.
